Funeral Arrangements:
Jennifer Kautz's funeral will be at 10:30 am Friday at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
Preston Hanley Funeral Home is located at 500 North 4th Street, Pekin. (Phone: 309-346-2176)
Eastside Educational Center, Inc. will be closing at 3 pm on Thursday, and will be closed Friday in order for us to pay our respects and send our love to Miss Jen.

Mrs. Jennifer Kautz left this world far too quickly for us to truly express our love for her. Our memories of Miss Jen with the children will always be filled with thoughts of her laughter, love, hugs and kisses - she loved unconditionally, and showed us her true passion for teaching and living.

Mrs. Jennifer Kautz began working for Eastside Educational Center in January of 2005. Immediately, her love for children and life was evident in our Center and in our classrooms. She touched the lives of many families and their children, as she poured her heart into her work, loving the children in her classrooms, and striving to provide our children with the love they needed while mom and dad were away.
Jennifer was not only a loving teacher, but also a friend to all of her co-workers. Her tender and caring heart touched all of our staff throughout her years at Eastside.
Her smile and warm welcome will be missed each and every morning by our arriving children, and her caring presence will be greatly missed by our daycare family.
We celebrate every day we were blessed by Jennifer's loving heart while she was with us, and mourn with her family as cope with the loss of such a caring and wonderful soul.
God Bless Jennifer and her family.
