Our infant room is designed specifically for the needs of small children. Separated into two areas, children have space to play, crawl and learn, as well as a quiet place to rock with the teacher or rest and refuel for even more active play!


Your child will play in the padded ring, crawl over the mountain pads, enjoy tummy-time, or even admire themselves in the wall mirrors. In the infant room, children can interact with other friends their age and begin crucial social and conversational activity. At four months our teachers begin teaching the children "baby signs" which enable the child to communicate at a very young age.
Even more important than the fun your child will have is the loving bond they will form with their teacher. We know that infants thrive on strong attachments to their care giver. We believe that all children deserve individual care. To achieve this goal, we strive for staff to child ratios of 1:3. All infants are given a "primary care giver" who works with them on an individual basis. The children's schedules are synchronized to provide individual feeding, and play time. This means that while your precious little one will become acquainted with all the teachers in their classroom, their primary caregiver is the one who will feed, diaper, and play with your angel.
Quality Infant Care
Infants and Toddlers are in the most vulnerable and important period of life. Initially, they are totally dependent on adults to meet their every need. If the care and experiences they have are nurturing, consistent, and loving, children flourish. Almost every day you can see exciting changes as children learn to trust you, joyfully explore the environment you have created, make discoveries, care about others, and begin to see themselves as competent learners. Infants, toddlers, and twos who receive high-quality care are more likely to become sociable, capable preschoolers who get along with others, demonstrate self-control, and love learning.
